Position Overview

We're seeking an exceptional Software Engineer to join our Hong Kong office full-time. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with our globally distributed team while playing a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our logistics platform. Your expertise will ensure we deliver robust, scalable, and efficient systems that power our global operations.

Technical Skills Required

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain sophisticated backend services using Python, Django, and REST APIs
• Optimize cloud infrastructure on Heroku and AWS to ensure maximum availability and performance
• Engineer efficient data solutions using Postgres and ClickHouse databases for storage, retrieval, and analytics
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative features and continuous improvements
• Craft clean, maintainable code with comprehensive documentation following industry best practices
• Diagnose and resolve complex system issues to minimize downtime and maximize performance
• Drive system architecture decisions and implement forward-thinking, scalable solutions

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 3+ years of proven experience in software development with strong backend expertise
• Advanced proficiency in Python, Django, and RESTful API development
• Demonstrated experience managing cloud infrastructure on Heroku and AWS
• Strong database skills with Postgres and familiarity with ClickHouse or similar analytics platforms
• Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a remote, global team environment
• Proactive problem-solver with meticulous attention to detail and ability to balance speed with quality

Advantageous Qualifications

• Experience with logistics, 3PL, or e-commerce platforms
• Expertise in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies
• Knowledge of frontend technologies (JavaScript, React, Angular) for full-stack contributions
• Background in performance optimization for high-traffic, mission-critical systems
