Private.Ki is looking for a UX/UI Product Designer to craft intuitive, polished experiences that make our privacy-first email a joy to use. We’re a fully funded remote startup building secure 🔑 messaging system with revolutionary features from the ground up. We're an international team comprising of (at the moment) 5 nationalities in 4 countries. Join us & work anywhere!

Must-Have Responsibilities

  • Product-centric mindset — understand product goals, ask clarifying questions, and challenge assumptions.
  • Information architecture — map the complete app flow and screen hierarchy.
  • Modern, platform-native UX & UI — propose intuitive patterns and visually polished interfaces for Web, iOS, and Android.
  • High-fidelity mock-ups — deliver clean, developer-ready Figma (or similar) designs for all platforms.
  • Design-to-dev collaboration — partner with engineers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation.
  • English proficiency — conversational or better.

    Nice-to-Haves

    • Evidence-based iteration — plan and run usability tests or A/B experiments, then translate insights into refinements.
    • Accessibility by default — design to WCAG standards and ensure inclusive experiences across devices.
    • AI-driven workflow — leverage emerging design-assist tools to speed up research and prototyping.
    • Design-system ownership — build and maintain reusable components and style guidelines.
    • User-research cadence — conduct regular interviews or surveys for continuous insight.
