About the company and the team
We’re looking for a QA engineer to join our team at Private.Ki. We’re a fully funded remote startup building secure 🔑 messaging system with revolutionary features from the ground up. We're an international team comprising of (at the moment) 5 nationalities in 4 countries. Join us & work anywhere!

Must-Have Responsibilities
- Run manual exploratory and regression tests on every feature before release
- Validate each pull request locally and partner with developers until issues are resolved
- Log clear, reproducible bug reports that include priority / severity, steps to reproduce, and expected behavior
- Maintain a living test checklist and update it for every release
- English level - Conversational
Nice-to-Haves
- Write and maintain automated end-to-end tests (Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
- Identify usability and accessibility gaps and proactively surface UX concerns to the team
- Software development skills
- Experience with Python
- Experience with JavaScript
- Experience with Continuous Integration (CI)
