UX/UI Designer

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in designing desktop and mobile web applications, ideally in ecommerce. The candidate must have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices in UI/UX. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.

Format: Part-time (remote) with a possibility to switch to Full-time (remote).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and prototype user interfaces for web applications.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights for design improvements.
• Create mockups, user flows, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Collaborate with product manager, PM, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and consistency.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design.
• Develop and maintain design systems and style guides.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of UI/UX design experience (desktop & mobile web applications preferred).
• Proficiency in Figma.
• Strong sense of ownership and initiative.
• Portfolio demonstrating design projects and a work process.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and familiarity with some of the frameworks: Design thinking, JTBD, Lean, Double Diamond, UX Honeycomb, Three Horizons, Information architecture
• Experience in user research and usability testing
• Agile, previous experience in a startup environment is a plus
• Team player, excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Receptiveness to constructive feedback.

• Experience with responsive design and accessibility standards.
• Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Understanding of analytics tools and how to apply data to inform design decisions.
• Graphic design experience is not necessary, but is a plus
• English - Upper intermediate.
