Job Description:
We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in designing desktop and mobile web applications, ideally in ecommerce. The candidate must have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices in UI/UX. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.
Format: Part-time (remote) with a possibility to switch to Full-time (remote).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and prototype user interfaces for web applications.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights for design improvements.
- Create mockups, user flows, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Collaborate with product manager, PM, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and consistency.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design.
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of UI/UX design experience (desktop & mobile web applications preferred).
- Proficiency in Figma.
- Strong sense of ownership and initiative.
- Portfolio demonstrating design projects and a work process.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and familiarity with some of the frameworks: Design thinking, JTBD, Lean, Double Diamond, UX Honeycomb, Three Horizons, Information architecture
- Experience in user research and usability testing
- Agile, previous experience in a startup environment is a plus
- Team player, excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Receptiveness to constructive feedback.
- Experience with responsive design and accessibility standards.
- Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Understanding of analytics tools and how to apply data to inform design decisions.
- Graphic design experience is not necessary, but is a plus
- English - Upper intermediate.
