System Analyst

As a System Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the evolution of our platform by analyzing, designing, and refining system architecture. You'll work closely with developers, product owner, and QA to break down complex technical challenges into manageable tasks. A strong focus on understanding and improving our existing legacy components will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze current system architecture, especially legacy components, to identify areas for improvement and refactoring.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable and maintainable system solutions.
• Break down high-level product or technical requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Document system processes, data flows, and technical specifications clearly and accurately.
• Conduct impact analysis for changes and propose mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a System Analyst, Solution Architect, or similar role
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, databases, and web services.
• Experience dealing with large-scale or legacy systems, ideally in the domain or hosting industry.
• Ability to decompose complex problems into structured, logical components.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, YouTrack and modeling languages such as UML or BPMN.

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience in the domain name industry (e.g., registrars, DNS, WHOIS).
• Knowledge of ICANN regulations and domain lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with systems built in PHP, Python, or other backend technologies.
