Senior Fullstack/Backend Engineer (Typescript, Node, Svelte)

We’re seeking a skilled Senior Backend (oriented Fullstack) Engineer that will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our platform, ensuring that our systems are robust, efficient, and scalable. Technical Stack:

●  Frontend: Svelte.js,  JavaScript, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS

●  Backend: Node.js, Postgres 

●  Cloud: AWS

●  Related Technologies: Python, C/C++, Rust, Linux, WebAssembly (future)

●  Tools: Git, Linear,  AI tools and more

Requirements

●  Experience: 7+ years as a developer, with a strong focus on backend development.

●  Technical Skills: Proficiency in strongly typed languages optimized for performance, such as C, Rust, Scala, or Go. REST APIs, various databases, and Linux environments.

●  Problem-Solving: A result-oriented approach to problem-solving with the ability to work efficiently at a high pace.

●  Team Collaboration: Independence coupled with the ability to work well within a team. English communication skills, primarily in writing, but also verbally for team calls.

●  Education: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another relevant field.

Bonus Points:

●  Experience with functional programming languages (e.g., Haskell, Scala, Python, C, Rust).

●  Understanding the principles of building IT systems.

●  Familiarity with AWS cloud services, Docker, and other DevOps tools.

● Extra degree, in Physics, Math or similar

Key Responsibilities:

●  Code Development: Write, maintain, and optimize high-quality code across both frontend and backend systems.

●  Performance Monitoring: Monitor and enhance the performance and efficiency of your code.
